Maria Imari (伊万莉 まりあ Imari Maria) is one of the protagonists of the Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru!. She is a second-year student of Tsukumori Middle School.
Appearance[]
Maria is a young teenage girl with waist-length orange hair that has buns tied on each side of her head and blue eyes. She is shown to be popular with guys due to her beauty and a good body figure.
Personality[]
Maria is a really cheerful girl who really enjoys manga and anime that she also likes to joke around as you could see in Episode 6 (where she debuted in).
Plot[]
She is first presented to be a possible rival to Mizuki Usami especially in the anime due to the fact that both Subaru and Maria have the same interests and are very close right off the bat.
Relationship[]
Subaru Uchimaki []
They first interact after she asks if he's in any pain , this is because of the way he had his hand posed on his head. This is something she saw in Black Dragon Eye, the same anime Uchimaki watches. Later in the day she asked him if he wanted to hang out after school. Mizuki Usami tags along with them to get a new strap, Imari asks if they are dating which they both deny. So jokingly she asks Uchimaki if he wanted to go out with her.
Mizuki Usami[]
Usami and Imari are slowly becoming friends, but it's gonna be a rocky friendship. They have shown to care for each other and she sees Usami as a cute good girl and a great friend. She is pretty close her as time goes on.

- The name Maria means "Wished-for child, rebellion, bitter" in Latin.
- Maria's surname Imari means "that one" (伊) (i), "ten thousand" (万) (ma) and "white jasmine" (莉) (ri).
Trivia []
- In Maria's appearance episode, it is said that she is actually a transfer student.
- She is the president of the Manga club.
